Introduction

19. Language Examinations :- Compulsory Examinations - Total 147 exams for Gujarati Higher Level & Lower Level and 109 exams for communicative Gujarati Language have been held in which 4796, 11737 and 12310 employees had appeared respectively out of which 2499, 7257 and 11258 employees have been successful respectively.
     

20. Total 94 exams for Hindi Higher Level, Lower Level and Communicative Hindi have been held in which 53034, 35413 and 80911 candidates had appeared respectively out of which 27821,14968 and 73153 employees have been successful respectively.
     

21. Optional Language Examinations : Up till now 6 candidates have taken the test of Higher level proficiency in Gujarati for the Gazetted Officers out of which 2 candidates have passed.
     

22. 28 Examinations of optional Language skills for all Gujarati officers & employees have been held in which 200 candidates had appeared and 14 have been successful.
     

23. Total 25 Examinations of optional Language Skills for Sr. Clerks, Jr. Clerks, Assistants, Typists have been held in which 485 candidates had appeared and 93 have become successful.
     

24. 21 Examinations of optional short hand level 1 -2 -3 for the Stenographers have been held in which 170 candidates had appeared and 85 have become successful.
